Let's look at the directory's home page. dmoz.org

Notice the subject headings in blue, starting with Art, Business, and Computers. These make up the directory's main subject categories.

Scroll through the list, and click on Sports.

Navigation Tip: Press the Ctrl key along with the link in the directory to open a new page. This will allow you to flip between the screen with the instructions and the web directory.

Scroll through the resulting lower list of sports and click on Hockey.

Scroll through the top list, and click on Ice Hockey.

Notice the various categories you can focus on for Kids and Teens or Rules and Officiating or Training.

Let's choose Training. Scan the list of web pages and read the brief annotations. Be sure to scroll all the way down.

Click on any of the links to view the pages.
